Saaberie Chisty Ramadaan Haleem Operation.
 20 degs of haleem was prepared by the Saaberie Chisty Lenasia South Centre,on the first Sunday of Ramadaan. The haleem along with 650 naan breads were distributed to the community of Lenasia South as well as surrounding areas.
Folk from various ethnic groups and religious denominations queued with all sorts of containers to collect their free share of haleem.
Half of the number of degs were apportioned as follows: 7 were allocated to the the Saaberie Chisty Mosque in Extension 6, 1 deg to Poortjie and 2 degs to the pupils of Saaberie Chisty Dawah Centre in Driezek Orange farm.
“This will continue for the remaining days of the blessed month of Ramadan with the permission of the Almighty Allah”, says Sayed Ridhwaan of Saaberie Chisty.
